Xmas: Senator Adeola Solomon Olamilekan (Yayi) hosts Lagos West residents

Senator Adeola Solomon Olamilekan (APC, Lagos West senatorial district) on Wednesday hosted his constituents to a social gathering to celebrate the end of year, explaining that he is always happy to be with his people irrespective of their class or position in the society.
The senator made this known in a statement by the Director General of his re-election campaign, Hon. Babatunde Rajh-Label.
Yayi, as the lawmaker is fondly called, said he is delighted with the turnout of people as it shows he is loved and appreciated by his people. “I am always happy to do this every 26th day of December. This allows me wine and dine with everyone in my constituency irrespective of their class and or position. Everyone is welcome to celebrate and I thank everyone for always coming out. “
Yayi, who is seeking a second term as a senator, also encouraged people who have not collected their permanent voters to get it and participate in the electoral process, “because that will enhance democracy and nation building as a whole.”
He said, “Today’s event is really a great one as it has never happened before; the crowd is as though a president is campaigning for election.  To have this kind of people celebrating with a senator shows the people appreciate and love him.”
One of his constituents,  Shola Aralamo,  expressed his appreciation and thanked the senator for also putting all and sundry into consideration and his endless support for his people.
Yayi organises an end of year party every 26th December to celebrate with members and and well wishers in his constituency.
