Vice-principal defiles 12-year-old student in Ikole Ekiti

The Ekiti State Police Command on Tuesday arrested the vice-principal of St. Mary Girls College, Ikole-Ekiti,  Mr Ajayi Taiwo Ayo, for allegedly defiling a 12-year-old student.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, Mr Victor Babayemi, said that operatives of the law enforcement agency  picked up the 57 years old man in respect of the crime which allegedly took place on the 18th of March, 2014 in the Vice-Principal’s office. 
An unnamed staff of the school became apprehensive when the student, after spending a considerable time in the VP’s office, did not come out. The witness went near  the door and discovered it was bolted from inside, forcing her to knock on the door, a development that produced movements,  with subsequent sounds and demeanor of both the suspect and the victim giving the vice principal away.
Babayemi said that investigation revealed that the suspect had a similar case in the past which was not reported.

The victim also admitted that the suspect laid her on his table and had carnal knowledge of her. The report of the medical examination confirmed that the victim’s hymen not intact, as the police confirmed the suspect will soon be arranged in court.
