Ogun Students frown at Adebutu for disrespecting seat of Governor

The National Association of Ogun state students’ (National Body) has frantically frowned at the disrespectful attitude of former governorship aspirant of the people’s Democratic party, Mr. Ladi Adebutu towards the highly revered office of the Governor and the incumbent, Prince Dapo Abiodun recently at the 80th birthday anniversary of Mrs Victoria Fayose, mother of the immediate past governor of Ekiti State, Mr Ayodele Fayose held in Lagos.

According to the statement released on Wednesday jointly signed by NAOSS National President, comrade Saka Azeez Abidemi and Bashir AbdulAzeez,Naoss National P. R. O 1.

NAOSS condemned in totality the rude and immature attitude exhibited by Mr. Ladi towards Gov. Abiodun in the presence of dignitaries that were in attendance at the event.

In their statement ” It is pertinent to note that the sons and daughters of Ogun State are known to be well-cultured in every facets of life as this fact could be affirmed in the records of prominent personalities ever produced by State in various fields of human endeavor”

“The attitude of Mr. Ladi Adebutu towards the seating governor of Ogun state was not only disgusting but also undermine the good qualities Ogun state sons and daughters are known for both at the local and international level”

“Regardless the relationship that exist between the duo, Hon. Ladi Adebutu being a public figure shouldn’t have allowed familiarity or diverse political interest to make him belittle the exalted seat of a governor through his action towards the person of Prince Abiodun in a public gathering, a position he has once aspired for and still hoping to”

NAOSS also, demanded an unreserved apology from Mr. Ladi to Gov. Dapo Abiodun for the public misconduct in order to safe his reputation and the image of the good people of Ogun state globally.

The leadership of the umbrella body of all indigenous students of Ogun state urges Mr. Ladi Adebutu to imbibe good culture the State is known for and desist from dragging the name of Ogun State into the mould.”
