Ogun SA Youths visits PCN Command, pledges better working relationship

The Ogun State Commandant of Peace Corps of Nigeria, Patriot Olufemi Akinyemi with Ogun SA on Youth matters, Comrade Olamide Lawal.



The Special Assistant to the Ogun State Governor on youth matters, Mr. Lamide Lawal on Monday paid a courtesy visit to the Ogun State Command of Peace Corps of Nigeria (PCN).



Lawal assured the State Commandant, Patriot Olufemi Akinyemi of a better working relationship.




He commended the efforts the Peace Corps of Nigeria in promoting youth reorientating, peace building, volunteerism and other social services.



Lawal was of shared the view that the Corps remains a strategic partner in achieving the visions of the present administration in the State and Governor Dapo Abiodun’s “Building Our Future Together” agenda.




The Special Assistant assured the Commandant that he would further facilitate better working relationship with the Ministry of Youths and Sports in the State.




Commandant Akinyemi earlier in his remarks, noted that the Peace Corps officers in the State have been living up to expectations and required supports from stakeholders in the State.




He highlighted programmes that have been done in the State and listed the ongoing ones.




The Commandant also called for a better working relationship with the Special Assistant and other stakeholders in the Ministry of Youths and Sports and the Ogun State government.
