Ogun First Lady visits motherless babies, juvenile correctional homes

The wife of the Ogun State Governor, Mrs. Bamidele Abiodun has enjoined care givers at the Stella Obasanjo Children Home, Ibara and the Ogun State Juvenile Correctional Home, Asero to treat the children in their care with more love and understanding.
The first lady who stated this when she paid a familiarisation visit to the homes on Tuesday, said her visit to the homes was to give the children a sense of belonging and love, pledging her unalloyed support for the homes.
Mrs. Abiodun stressed the need for the children to acquire vocational skills along with their former education. 
According to her, vocational skills acquisition would help the children to take interest in the various activities introduced to them to lift their morales. 
She interacted with the children and encouraged them to see themselves as normal children with potentials that can be harnessed and fully utilised, adding that they could be assisted to live fulfilled lives.
Mrs. Abiodun while going round the homes’ facilities promised to give the support needed to the children and enhance the facilities for improved living standard and comfort of the children.
She admonished individuals and corporate groups to also see the welfare of these children as a corporate social responsibility and relate with them with love.
Earlier while welcoming the wife of the Governor, the Director Social Welfare, Mr. Oumide Sotubo appreciated Her Excellency for the visit and the food items and gifts she donated to the children informing that she had now become the mother of the children.
