MAPOLY Ex-SUG President, Olamide Lawal becomes Gov. Abiodun’s SA Youths Affairs

The Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has approved the immediate appointment of a former President of the Students’ Union of Government (SUG) of the Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY), Abeokuta, Comrade Olamide Afeez Lawal as his Special Assistant on Youths Affairs.
Lawal’s appointment was confirmed, along with that of other Special Assistants to Governor Abiodun on Thursday in Abeokuta, the State capital.
Lawal, until his new appointment was the Deputy Coordinator of Dapo Abiodun Media Team.
He also served as the Chairman of the Youth Sub-Group of Dapo Abiodun Transition Committee.
Speaking with Journalists shortly after the announcement, Lawal pledged his unflinching support and loyalty to the administration of Governor Abiodun.
He also promised to be just and fair to the youths of the State be irrespective of their political affiliations, assuring that he would justify the confidence reposed in him by living up to the expectations of government.
Unveiling some of his plans for the youths of the State, Lawal explained that he would “create a generation of young people, that would stand for the truth and also prioritise integrity over corruption and be upright in their dealings.”
Lawal expressed delight over his appointment and assured that he would discharge his duties diligently.
He said, “I return all glory and adoration to the Almighty God for the grace giving to me to serve Humanity in this capacity, especially in joining the team of the Governor Abiodun – led administration which is focused at the building our future together”.
Lawal solicited support of the entire people of the State towards the success of the present administration.
