Jigawa State Govt assures Corps members of adequate security

Jigawa State Governor, Muhammad Badaru, has assured National Youth Service Corps members deployed  to the state of adequate security.

The governor told the Batch C, Stream 2 corps members on Wednesday in Dutse that the state government would not rest on its oars in providing security to all residents of the state.

Badaru, represented by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Alhaji Adamu Fanini, said the administration has put in place security architecture towards securing the lives and properties of the people.

He charged the corps members to imbibe the culture and traditions of the their host communities and always dress decently in the places of their primary assignments.

The governor assured that the government would provide  the corps members the desired support in the discharge of their primary assignments.

The NYSC State Coordinator, Alhaji Ibrahim Muhammad said a total of 1,025 corps members were deployed to serve in Jigawa.
