Hot, passionate sex attacks common colds – Research

LoveManfred Schedlovski, a Swiss researcher from Zurich, has concluded that sexual intercourse not only has physical benefits but also builds up the immune system allowing the body to attack and kill various ailments better, like the common cold.

Manfred found that the number of phagocytes in the body increase significantly during sex and may even double during an orgasm. Phagocytes are cells in the immune system that seek out and destroy antibodies by penetrating them and self-destructing.

Schedlovski is not alone in his findings as his research results found support from Peter Schleicher, an Immunologist that states, “Not only does sex heal our organism; it also sustains its immune system.”
