The challenges were many when we came into office, as Eredo LCDA was in a state that called for urgent interventions in all the sectors. We swung into action by inaugurating the legislative chamber because it is our belief that’ll help a lot in ensuring smooth operation. We visited the council of Obas within our domain to seek their support and to also know their problems, despite having a plan of our own. We wanted their inputs into whatever plan we have.
The first 100 days of my administration started with the information gathered from various sources on resumption. But I embarked on building an ultra-modern toilet at Mojoda to stop the outbreak of cholera and other epidemic. Subsequently, I held a meeting with staff of the council to know what was expected from my administration. I discovered that there are few offices, so we decided to build offices for staff to enable them perform effectively. This gave birth to the reconstruction and upgrading of the old works & housing department at the council secretariat into a new edifice named after the pioneer chairman of the council, Alhaji Ganiyu Olayemi (Ganiu Olayemi Office Complex).
